“This was one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had!

I’ve tried to learn Spanish in school for many years, but I could never get a good grasp on it. After taking only 2 weeks worth of classes in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, I was able to hold basic conversations with the locals and get around the city on my own.

In addition to learning another language, I also had a great time and tons of fun! I had the opportunity to go surfing, travel, make friends from all over the world, and become a more global citizen.

I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in learning a language, having fun, and experiencing other cultures. Pura Vida!”

“I had the opportunity to spend five jaw-dropping weeks learning Spanish in Costa Rica!

I started off by looking at study abroad schools on my own and was eventually introduced to the folks at Languatica. They were total professionals and awesome to work with! They set me up with a school on the beach, an awesome place to live, and gave me pointers on all the local things I should do and see. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I came to Costa Rica with virtually no Spanish under my belt and was able to leave with 100 class room hours and the ability to actually converse, read, and write in the language. Overall, awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a language travel program.

Thanks to everybody involved with Languatica!”

“I loved my time abroad through Languatica

I went to Tamarindo, Costa Rica and the atmosphere was so welcoming and nurturing, with other students working hard to learn Spanish, and teachers ready and willing to help you learn in any way possible. I never missed a class, and never wanted to!

Classes were fun and laid back, but so well structured too. In my first week I was already ordering and buying food, getting a taxi, and making my way around the small beach town of Tamarindo with no problem. In addition to class I had a great time exploring the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica. I met people from all over the world at the school, but also got to know the locals of the area, some of which I still keep in contact with today!

Studying Spanish through Languatica is an incredible way to learn about a beautiful country and way of life, while learning a language that will serve you well in more than just your time abroad.”
